Advocated for at least $10.5 billion for HRSA programs in the FY 2025 Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies appropriations bill.
Joined coalition letter opposing any legislation that would bar medical schools from receiving federal funding if they engage in activities such as having a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) office and/or provide education on structural or institutional racism.
