ROAD to Housing, not yet re-introduced, but it was S. 5027 in the previous Congress and sponsored by Senator Tim Scott (R-SC). It is a combination of housing and homelessness provisions, from the promotion of manufactured housing to bonuses for communities that make reductions in homelessness.
Housing PLUS Act, not yet re-introduced but was H.R. 3405 in the previous Congress and introduced by Rep. Andy Barr (R-KY). Prohibition on use of Housing First in favor of Required Treatment for people experiencing homelessness
Homeless Children and Youth Act, not yet re-introduced, but was H.R. 5221 and sponsored by Rep. Mikie Sherrill (D-NJ). Would expand the definition of homelessness to include the housing insecure.
Administrations cuts to HUDs civil service and contractor workforces-no legislation.
Homes for Young Adults Act of 2025 (HR 2479) provides housing assistance for youth and young adults who are unstably housed by ensuring that any household that consists of or includes any youth or young adult and that is otherwise eligible for tenant-based rental assistance shall be entitled to such rental assistance.

Rural Housing Reform Act (S 1260) aim to improve the housing programs administered by the U.S. Department of Agricultures Rural Housing Service (RHS) through several reforms, including decoupling rental assistance from maturing mortgages, permanently establishing the Multifamily Housing Preservation and Revitalization Demonstration, making permanent the Native CDFI Relending pilot program, and improving staff training and capacity within RHS.

The Housing for All Act of 2023 (S 2701) would authorize significant investments in several federal programs: the Housing Trust Fund, Section 202 Supportive Housing for the Elderly, Section 811 Supportive Housing for People with Disabilities, Home Investments Partnerships Program, Housing Choice Voucher Program, Project Based Rental Assistance, the Emergency Solutions Grants program, and the Continuum of Care program. This bill would also authorize safe parking programs and eviction prevention programs, and help local homeless organizations invest in administrative capacity necessary to bill Medicaid for services.
