Medicare Payment - Supported the introduction of the Medicare Patient Access and Practice Stabilization Act (HR 879) to address the Medicare payment cut. Submitted letter to congressional leadership urging them to include a Medicare physician payment fix in government funding legislation and move towards a permanent payment solution as part of our 2025 legislative priorities. Joined two letters urging Congress to address the Medicare payment cut and move towards permanent reform in its appropriations bill.
Value-based care - Sent letter of support for the Preserving Patient Access to Accountable Care Act (HR 786) to extend value-based care policies that expired at the end of 2024. Pushed for the extension of the APM incentive payment and maintaining the QP thresholds to be included in the government funding bill as part of our letter to congressional leadership outlining our 2025 priorities.
Telehealth - Submitted a comment letter to the DEA on its proposed rule to establish a special registration process for prescribing controlled substances via telehealth. Joined letter urging Congress to establish permanent access to telehealth services. Pushed for an extension of telehealth flexibilities in a letter to congressional leadership outlining our 2025 priorities.
Prior authorization - Supported the reintroduction of the Reducing Medically Unnecessary Delays in Cares Act (HR 2433) to reform prior authorization, and joined a letter of support to the bill sponsors.
MIPS Value Pathways - Joined letter urging CMS to take an alternative approach to MIPS Value Pathways (MVPs).
Medicare Advantage - Joined a comment letter on CMS' proposed 2026 Policy and Technical Changes to the Medicare Advantage Program, Medicare Prescription Drug Benefit Program, Medicare Cost Plan Program, and Programs of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly.
Health Information Technology - Submitted a comment letter and joined a letter urging HHS not to move forward with proposed changes to the HIPAA Security Rule. Joined letter highlighting the importance of the Assistant Secretary for Technology Policy/Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ASTP/ONC).
