​The Indian Pharmaceutical Alliance (IPA) is an Indian trade association representing leading multinational pharmaceutical companies, many of which maintain a significant physical and commercial presence in the United States through their North American subsidiaries. As essential partners in Americas medicine supply chain, IPA member companies manufacture nearly 50 percent of the affordable medicines used by patients in the United States. IPA and its members seek to deepen their partnership with the U.S. government and industry to strengthen health and medicine security in both the United States and India, reduce dependence on countries of concern, and build more secure, diversified, and resilient pharmaceutical supply chains. U.S. invited IPA members to two Round Tables at USASelect to discuss working together to reshore affordable medicine and inputs and to discuss U.S. market reforms to drive onshoring.
